SAIL ALONG THE BEAGLE CHANNEL WATCHING THE SEA LIFE.

We will depart from the dock of the city of Ushuaia in our exclusive boat Akawaia. At the Beagle Channel, we will observe Imperial Cormorants colonies and other seabirds such as Rock Cormorants, Steamer Ducks, Kelp Geese, Kelp Gulls, Gray Gulls, Antarctic Pigeons, Southern Giant Petrels, Tussac Birds, Black-Browed Albatross and South American Terns. We will observe colonies of Sea Lions with one or two hairs and visit Les Eclaireurs lighthouse. We will continue sailing towards the east to observe places such as Estancia Remolino, Punta Paraná, Puerto Williams, and Puerto Almanza. We will observe Gable Island and sail alongside it to reach Martillo Island, where the world's southernmost colony of Magellanic Penguins is found. We will observe this species from outside our boat and we will also be able to observe Gentoo Penguins, which are found in this colony in smaller numbers.
