Tierra del Fuego, its weather and specially Ushuaia, is a priviledged place to practice winter sports. A complete and diverse offer
is available a few miles from this town. The magnificent disposition of internationally homologated natural ski runs, melt with
the rapid evolution of infrstructure and equipments.
The magnificent fueguian geography featuring steep montain ranges and deep valleys allows the practise of different winter
activities like Andean skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboard, ski touring, ice climbing, snow rackets, ice skating, and promenades on dog sleighs.
The different cultural activities and sports and artistic shows, attended by tourists and residents, among which we can mention
the "Longest Night National Party", the traditional “Marchablanca” (cross-country skiing excursion),
the "National Meeting of Snow Sculpture", the "Ushuaia Sled Dog Race" (a competitive
adventure of dog sleighs) and the "End of the World Rally", join to make fueguian winter a matchless touristic menu.
